Berry Business Systems Announces New Company Leadership

(SHELBY, NORTH CAROLINA) – On August 1, 2024, Lesley Bliss Wright was named President and CEO of Berry Business Systems, a longtime business-solution company headquartered in Shelby, N.C. In this new role, Wright will lead and further cultivate the company’s capabilities and missions. Since its founding in 1976, Berry Business Systems has aspired to connect businesses with superior products and services, to enable owners by transforming inefficiency into efficiency, and thus, to help businesses thrive by achieving their full potential.

Wright has lived in Shelby for over 25 years. She grew up in Alaska (near the foot of Mt. Denali) and spent most of her time alongside her father in the family’s commercial fishing business. Before moving to Shelby, she gained experience in Denver, Colo., working for Canon USA (a leading provider of consumer, business to business, and industrial digital imaging solutions). Hired by Berry in 1999, Wright is a true American success story: working her way through company ranks from secretary to CEO. She now adds her expertise, experience, and knowledge to the growing number of successful women entrepreneurs in Cleveland County.
